I’m grateful to have been given the opportunity by Sony to use the new Sony Alpha A7III for a few weeks prior to the official announcement on Monday in Las Vegas. It was an incredible experience to be a part of the event and continue to be supported by a company that listens to feedback and continues to innovate. Check out some of the first images produced by the newest addition to Sony’s full-frame mirrorless lineup.

Only the Good Stuff: Multivitamins for Your Weekend [08.12.17] by Eric Williams

While I was out of town last week, I received an email from Ann VosKamp asking if she would be able to feature some of my photos in her weekly blog in the "Only the Good Stuff" section. I forgot to mention anything about it to my wife, who happens to love her work and follow Ann's blog. Fast forward to this morning and my wife walks in the house with a huge smile on her face saying, "Did Ann VosKamp just share your photos on her blog?!"

It was fun to see her so excited and have my photography career find it's way into her daily interests.

State of Tennessee's Department of Tourist Development - A “Time Capsule” Made in Tennessee by Eric Ward

In a time when Google searches take seconds, communication is nearly instant and having something viral is actually a good thing, it’s not surprising that as my daughter’s shoes came to rest on top of a time capsule, marked by a sidewalk copper plate, her brother quickly asked, “What is that, Daddy?”

As I explained what it was, we began to guess what it might hold – newspaper clippings, prices of items, a photo or two, maybe even a letter from a previous generation, and I was reminded that in many ways, our trip to Tennessee was like that capsule. Moments spent together as a family, filled with new experiences that created memories we wanted to capture and hold. Now only one question remained…what would our time capsule hold?

A weekend in the Smokies showed us how easy it was for our family to make memories that will last a lifetime. Check out the link to see our Tennessee time capsule.

@littlecoal #MyRodeReel by Eric Williams

Some amazingly talented friends of mine recently approached me about sharing this crazy journey I've been on with Instagram as the story for a short film competition they were entering. I hate being in front of any camera, but these guys are the best around and I'm really impressed with what they came up with. Please take just a couple of minutes and give it a view.
Thanks Levi, Chris, Zak, & JD!
